Here are the events for April 2026
Monday, 6 – Regular troop meeting - we will continue work on advancement and getting Scoutbook updated for the upcoming Spring 2026 Court of Honor. REMINDER: please coordinate with Ron for Scoutmaster conferences and Trisha for Boards of Review as needed!
Friday, 10 to Sunday, 12 - Order of the Arrow Spring Conclave at Beaumont - OA MEMBERS ONLY - The 2026 Order of the Arrow Spring Conclave is scheduled for April 10, 2026 to April 12, 2026 at Beaumont. The Pathfinder district will be camping in the Vollmar site which is right next to the Lane Camporee area on the trail to Emerson Center. This event is for OA members only and registration is required!
Ordeal Candidates completing their induction should select the "Ordeal Candidate" ticket. This ticket includes all meals on Saturday, an event patch, and access to all weekend programs. If you did not complete your Pre-Ordeal last year at the Fall Reunion you will need to take care of that on Friday night and then complete your Ordeal on Saturday. Make sure to click the link below to see what you will need for Friday night (if required) and Saturday day. We highly recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty in addition to the recommended gear for Saturday's events.
All Other Members should select either "Event Ticket - No Meals" or "Event Ticket - Dinner Only" or "Event Ticket - Meal Plan" tickets. All tickets include access to the weekend programs and an event patch. The "Dinner Only" ticket includes the Saturday night dinner. “Meal Plan” tickets will include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner on Saturday only. We highly recommend selecting the "Meal Plan" tickets so we can eat at Emerson Center and not have to worry about cooking in camp.
Season and Thunderbird Pass Holders: after selecting your ticket for the weekend, you should add the password sent to you previously with the “Apply a discount code” at the top of the ticket selection screen. If you have lost your password, please email help@shawneelodge.org for assistance.
If you have any dietary concerns, please email help@shawneelodge.org prior to registering. While this event is large in size, the food service offered is limited as to the accommodations that can be made for dietary needs. Some substitutions may be possible, but we ask that those with specific dietary restrictions email help@shawneelodge.org to check availability.
Members interested in sealing their membership in the Order by completing their Brotherhood can complete their Brotherhood questioning at the event. Brotherhood fees may be paid in advance in the HUB51 Member Portal, or onsite at the Help Desk.

Friday, 24 to Sunday, 26 - Pathfinder Spring Camporee at Camp Warren Levis in Godfrey, IL - The Pathfinder district will be holding their Spring 2926 Camporee at Camp Warren Levis! The theme this year is "Stranger Scouts". See attached camp manual (PDF document; 608 KB) for more details. PATROL LEADERS: please review the camp manual and work with your patrols to make sure everyone is prepared!
Camping - the troop will be camping on the Illini camporee field at Camp Warren Levis. The field is ~100 meters west of the main parking lot at the camp. See attached camp map (PDF document; 1.8 MB) for more details.
Gear - please make sure to plan for variable weather, especially cool/chilly during the day and potentially cold at night (it can get down to the upper 40s and lower overnight) as it is late April.
Make sure to bring variable weather clothing, rain gear, good hiking boots WITH SOCKS and water bottles.
For all Scouts and adults we recommend a good mid-weight sleeping bag and a blanket as well as a good sleep pad for comfort.
Please review your Scout handbook for more details on required and nice to have camp gear.
Don't forget a flashlight / headlamp and batteries!
We also recommend bringing board games / cards / other games that do not require electricity to share with the troop.
Food - We will be PATROL COOKING for this event! We recommend Scouts and adults bring personal plates / cups / bowls / utensils in case we run short on things. Please consider bringing an insulated mug for hot cocoa / coffee so we can avoid using Styrofoam cups.
Medications - remember to have ALL prescribed medications and / or dietary supplements in their original packaging with explicit dosing instructions included. The information listed on the bottle / package can be very important in an emergency. Also, all medications need to be checked in with the designated adult leader on site for safe keeping.
The cost for the weekend is $30
Reminder to leave anything you do not want broken / lost / stolen at home as the troop IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for personal gear
The adults on site will have mobile phones available in case of emergency.
We will meet at the John Calvin Church parking lot on Friday night, 24th at 6:00 PM to get everyone checked in and get on the road quickly.
Please make sure everyone is on time so we can get to camp at a reasonable hour and get set up!
Click HERE [maps.google.com] for directions to get from the church to the camp.
