Summer 2026

Good afternoon!

This summer we will not be meeting on Monday evenings after school starts again to allow our Scout families to enjoy their break. Here are the scheduled events for August 2026:

Monday, 3 - NO MEETING - Pattonville summer break

Monday, 10 - Troop committee meeting - Discussion of troop business and event planning for the upcoming year. We will meet at the church at 7:00 PM. All parents are welcome to join us!

Monday, 17 - OA Pathfinder chapter meeting - OA MEMBERS ONLY! - The chapter meeting date has been moved to Monday, August 17th and will be held at Main Event at 17027 North Outer 40 Road in  Chesterfield. We will have a short business meeting at 6 pm (meet near the front). You can do unlimited activities (bowling, VR, laser tag and more) for $12.99 so you can stay as long as you want (deal is good starting at 4 pm if you want to come early as well).

Saturday, 22 - 2026 Merit Badge Makeup Day - The St. Louis Eagle Scout Association invites all scouts to its annual merit badge makeup day on Saturday, August 22nd from 8 AM to 12 PM at Beaumont Scout Reservation. This event is designed to help scouts who began a merit badge at summer camp, but did not finish, to complete the badge with counselors. All badges that are offered at a GSLAC summer camp will be supported at this event! The climbing tower, rifle range, shotgun range, archery range, and pool will all be available and staffed to allow scouts the opportunity to finish their badges. Note that this event is to help Scouts complete merit badge partials, not begin new badges! 

No advance registration is required and there is no charge for this event. Scouts are welcome to come and go as needed. Certain areas, such as the climbing wall, may require additional time for scouts to complete so arriving early is highly recommended. Class A uniforms are highly encouraged.
